This fails: downloading the Linkin Outlook 2010 installer and running it brings up a pop-up that says the Outlook Social Connector must be installed … which it is. The link to OSC is the out-of-date February 2010 beta.
I suspect the issue is that I’m running 64-bit Office, and the LinkedIn connector only appears to look for plug-ins in the 32-bit folder Program Files (x86)

I can’t see the email from the contacts i have in my outlook in the social connector, only status updates from facebook….

Thank you for your post.ya it’s true microsoft outlook is a social connector and also you can directly send SMS using microsoft outlook 2010 and sharepoint 2010.
